KIEV, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- The number of people who were killed after a car rammed into pedestrians in east Ukraine's Kharkiv city last week rose to six after a 20-year-old woman died in a hospital, the city administration said in a statement Thursday.
The other five injured people, including a pregnant woman, are still receiving treatment for multiple head, brain and body injuries in local hospitals.
Four women and a man were killed on the spot when an SUV moved on a pavement and ploughed into pedestrians on a busy street in Kharkiv, the second-largest city in Ukraine, on Oct. 18.
The SUV hit the pavement following a collision with another car. Police said the crash was not a terror act.
The 20-year-old female SUV driver has been arrested. She faces up to 10 years in prison.
