KIEV, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- At least 25 people, including two children, fell ill from food poisoning after eating in a restaurant in Ukraine's western city of Lviv, local authorities said Friday.
Among them, 22 people were hospitalized in a moderately severe condition, while three others were receiving treatment at home, the Lviv city administration said in a statement.
All victims, who have complained of stomach pain and vomiting, were diagnosed with an acute enteric infection.
It is the second food poisoning incident in Lviv in less than a month. On Sept. 25, more than 50 people were taken to hospitals after eating tainted fish bought at a local market.
