Nearly 300 golfers to compete at Chervo Vietnam Championship

HANOI, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- A total of 288 golfers across Vietnam will compete at the 2017 Chervo Vietnam Championship slated for Nov. 5, and the five best performers at the event will be eligible for attending Chervo Tournament in Italy next year.

The championship will take place at FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club & Luxury Resort in Vietnam's northern Ha Long city, home to the world heritage site of Ha Long Bay, its organizers said on Thursday.

In addition to three categories for professional golfers, the championship will have a category for juniors.
