TOKYO, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely in line with its levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.84-85 yen compared with 112.79-89 yen in New York and 113.09-10 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1747-1748 dollars and 132.56-57 yen against 1.1739-1749 dollars and 132.49-59 yen in New York and 1.1742-1744 dollars and 132.79-83 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
