KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Afghanistan's security forces have captured a Taliban key commander Mullah Abdul Haq in northern Kunduz province, an army spokesman said on Tuesday.
The security forces also killed two militants and injured three others, said Abdul Khalil, the army spokesman of the province.
"Acting upon intelligence report, the security forces organized an ambush on Taliban militants who were using motorbikes to cross a road in Kunduz province early today morning, killing two rebels on the spot and injuring three others," Khalil told Xinhua.
Taliban militants haven't commented on the report yet.
