BEIJING, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake hit Wulong County of southwest China's Chongqing Municipality at 5:43 p.m. Thursday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 29.4 degrees north latitude and 107.94 degrees east longitude.
The quake struck at a depth of about 10 km.
