Chief justice proposes more mainland-HK judicial exchange

BEIJING, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chief Justice Zhou Qiang on Wednesday called for more exchange between judicial organs of the mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

Zhou made the remarks while meeting with Andrew Li Kwok-nang, former chief justice of the Court of Final Appeal of the HKSAR.

The judicial organs of the mainland and the HKSAR should contribute to improving the wellbeing of people in the mainland and the HKSAR, said Zhou, who also heads the Supreme People's Court.
