Indian markets open lower

MUMBAI, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened lower Wednesday, dragged by banks after disappointing numbers from Axis Bank.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 32,510.85, 98.31 points or 0.32 percent down compared to its previous close at 32,609.16.
