TOKYO, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar hovered in the lower 112 yen zone Wednesday in Tokyo with market sentiment underpinned by Nikkei's winning streak.
At 5 p.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 112.28-30 yen compared with 112.40-50 yen in New York and 112.55-56 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday. It moved between 112.23 yen and 112.58 yen during the day.
The euro fetched 1.1827-1828 dollars and 132.80-84 yen against 1.1803-13 dollars and 132.76-86 yen in New York and 1.1765-1766 dollars and 132.42-46 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
