NEW DELHI, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- An Indian border guard belonging to Border Security Force (BSF) was shot dead while four of his family members wounded after unidentified gunmen fired upon them in restive Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said Thursday.

The BSF trooper was at home on his vacation at village Hajin in Bandipora, about 32 km north of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
