SINGAPORE, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean stocks finished lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) declining 10.07 points, or 0.31 percent, to close at 3268.88.
A total of 1.99 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.18 billion Singapore dollars (about 867.66 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 234 to 222.
The STI index went down 15.98 points, or 0.48 percent, to close at 3278.95 Wednesday.
