MACAO, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Composite consumer price index (CPI) in China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) increased in June by 1.06 percent year-on-year to 109.44, the SAR's statistics department said on Friday.

Composite CPI has increased for three consecutive months since April, which was attributable to dearer charges for outpatient services, eating out and domestic services, rising tuition fees, as well as increases of vehicle prices and parking meter rate, according to the latest data released by Macao's Statistics and Census Service.

For the 12 months ended June 2017, the average Composite CPI went up by 1.27 percent from the previous period. Meanwhile, the average Composite CPI for the first half of 2017 climbed by 0.94 percent year-on-year, the statistics showed.
