Hong Kong stocks close 0.56 pct higher

HONG KONG, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 147.22 points, or 0.56 percent, to 26,672.16 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 26,541.56 and 26,682.64. Turnover totaled 90.94 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 11.65 billion U.S. dollars).
