Chinese team loses at int'l women's volleyball event in Vietnam

HANOI, July 11 (Xinhua) -- The women's volleyball team of Beijing Sports University on Monday lost to a South Korean club at 2017 international women's volleyball tournament in northern Hai Duong province.

South Korea' Suwon Club defeated Beijing Sports University 3-2 with the scores of 26-24, 16-25, 19-25, 26-24 and 16-14.

Meanwhile, U-18 Vietnam was steamrolled 3-0 by the Japanese University team with the scores of 25-12, 25-13 and 25-7.

The weeklong tournament, which opened on Saturday, has attracted seven teams from China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
