RABAT, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Morocco's Wydad Casablanca advanced to the quarterfinal of the African Champions League, beating then group leaders Zanaco of Zambia 1-0 at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca on Saturday.
The only goal was scored by Achraf Bencharki in the 68th minute.
After the decisive victory, the Moroccan team topped the group with 12 points and advanced to the quarterfinal, along with the Egyptians of Al Ahli who jumped to the second place with 11 point.
In the other match of the group, Al Ahli won 3-1 against Coton Sport of Cameroon.
