TOKYO, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks slipped Thursday morning as a continued fall in prices for crude oil saw energy-linked issues retreat and dent sentiment.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average edged down 20.54 points, or 0.10 percent, from Wednesday to 20,118.25.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, shed 0.42 point, or 0.03 percent, to 1,611.14.
Mining, insurance, and oil and coal product-related issues comprised those that declined the most by the morning break.
