JAKARTA, June 8 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian government condemned the terrorist attack in Tehran of Iran that left 13 people dead and dozens injured, foreign ministry said in a statement here on Thursday.
In telephone conversation with her Iranian counterpart, Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi expressed a deep condolence and sympathy to the families of victims and prayed for the healing of the injured.
The government stressed that terrorism is an unjustifiable form of crime.
The Indonesian mission office in Tehran continues to monitor the situation and has coordinated with relevant authorities.
Indonesia has been fighting against radicalism and has been included in the global target of IS group.
The country has also suffered a series of suicide bombing strikes recently that claimed dozens of casualties and scores others people injured.
