HANGZHOU, May 28 (Xinhua) -- A hot pot restaurant in eastern China's Zhejiang Province was rocked by an explosion Sunday morning, leaving 12 people injured.
The explosion at around 9:10 a.m. in a restaurant in Kaihua County was caused by leaking bottled gas, according to the county government.
Among the injured, nine were restaurant staff and three others were passers-by. Two were seriously injured with the others suffering minor injuries.
Rescuers are dealing with the aftermath of the blast.
