ANKARA, May 26 (Xinhua) -- All demonstrations including "singing of songs, ballads and shouting slogans in a loud and disturbing way" after sunset are banned across Ankara Province, the Ankara Governor Office announced in a written statement on Friday.

The press releases and meetings are prohibited as well, according to the statement.

The move is in accordance with the Law on Meetings and Demonstration Marches, it said.

Those above actions "will disturb the public order and security, increase the risk of terror organizations to carry out bomb attacks against groups demonstrating, and make it hard for security forces to intervene in such events," the statement added.

The Governor Office said those who do not abide by the law will be faced legal procedures.
