NEW DELHI, May 24 (Xinhua) -- The Indian Air Force on Wednesday denied reports of any air space violation by Pakistan over the Siachen Glacier in the disputed region of Kashmir.

According to Pakistani media, its head of Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, visited the Qadri Airbase in Skardu near the Siachen Glacier earlier in the day, where war games were being held by Pakistani fighter jet squadrons.

But senior defense sources in Delhi said that there has been no air space violation by Pakistan over the Siachen Glacier.

Islamabad's move came a day after the Indian Army released a video clip of Pakistani bunkers being targeted by Indian armed forces at forward posts in Naushera sector across the Line of Control - the military boundary between India and Pakistan in Kashmir.

In the video clip provided by the Army, heavy artillery bombing on Pakistani bunkers can be seen, which destroyed some of Pakistani posts.

However, Pakistan has denied it, saying that Indian claims "are false."

The Siachen Glacier is located in the eastern Karakoram range in the Himalaya Mountains, just northeast of the point NJ9842 where the Line of Control between India and Pakistan ends.
