TEHRAN, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned the deadly terrorist attack in Manchester, calling for joint action against violence and terrorism, Tasnim news agency reported.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi expressed condolences to the families of victims of the terrorist attack.
All the countries that have been victims of extremism should join hands for serious, targeted, and sincere action against terrorism, he said.
On Monday night, the deadly attack killed at least 22 people and wounded 59 others when thousands of fans streamed out of a concert by U.S. singer Ariana Grande in Manchester.
