LONDON, May 23 (Xinhua) -- An eight-year-old girl was on Tuesday confirmed among the dead in the Manchester arena bombing attack.
The kid victim Saffie Rose Roussis was at the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena Monday night with her mother and sister, who both survived and are in separate hospitals in the city.
Chris Upton, headteacher at Tarleton Community Primary School in Lancashire County, where the eight-year-old was a pupil said: "Saffie was simply a beautiful little girl in every aspect of the word. She was loved by everyone and her warmth and kindness will be remembered fondly."
Upton said the news of her death had come as a tremendous shock, adding: "The thought that anyone could go out to a concert and not come home is heartbreaking."
