China and Russia have voiced serious concern over the deployment of the THAAD system in South Korea.
At a meeting in Moscow on security in Northeast Asia, China and Russia said the deployment was a unilateral and unconstructive action which would negatively affect the strategic balance, security and stability of the region and the world.
They said the deployment of the advanced US missile defense system in South Korea is a part of a global anti-missile scheme by Washinton.
China and Russia agreed to enhance coordination to counter the negative developments and protect their strategic security.
