Urgent: 5.7-magnitude quake hits off Sola, Vanuatu -- USGS

NEW YORK, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted 55km SSW of Sola, Vanuatu, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Monday.

The epicenter, with a depth of 204.3 km, was initially determined to be at 14.3653 degrees south latitude and 167.3972 degrees east longitude. Enditem
