Dollar hovers in lower 111 yen ahead of U.S. tax reform bill vote

TOKYO, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar stayed in the lower 111 yen zone Tuesday in Tokyo with investors in a wait-and-see mood for a vote in the U.S. Senate for a tax reform plan.

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 111.30-31 yen compared with 111.06-16 yen in New York and 111.36-37 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. It moved between 110.94 yen and 111.34 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.1888-1890 dollars and 132.32-36 yen against 1.1893-1903 dollars and 132.11-21 yen in New York and 1.1927-1928 dollars and 132.82-86 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
