MADRID, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose on Thursday, with the benchmark stock market Ibex-35 up 0.19 percent, or 18.90 points, to close at 10,032.80 points.
A total of 23 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.
Spain's fifth largest bank Bankia advanced 1.63 percent, followed by media company Mediaset and telecommunication company Cellnex that rose 1.35 percent and 1.21 percent respectively.
Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa lost 2.73 percent, being the top loser of the blue chips. Casing company Viscofan lost 1.12 percent and airline group IAG went down 0.99 percent.
