MADRID, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark stock market Ibex-35 up by 0.21 percent or 20.50 points, to close at 10,013.90 points.
A total of 20 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.
Electricity company Endesa advanced 3.06 percent, followed by casing company Viscofan and supermarket chain DIA that rose 3.02 percent and 2.79 percent respectively.
Hotel chain Melia Hotels lost 2.27 percent, being the top loser of the blue chips. Media company Mediaset lost 1.72 percent and technology solutions provider Amadeus was down by 1.23 percent.
