Urgent: Zimbabwe's fired VP Mnangagwa expected back in Zimbabwe soon: army chief

HARARE, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has opened discussions with former Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa who he fired two weeks ago, army chief Constantino Chiwenga said Monday.

He told a press conference that Mnangagwa, currently in exile, was expected to come back to Zimbabwe soon. The ruling ZANU-PF party on Sunday fired Mugabe from the party leadership and replaced him with Mnangagwa. Enditem
