TOKYO, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Japan logged a goods trade surplus of 285.4 billion yen (2.54 billion U.S. dollars) in October, according to government figures released Monday.
The Finance Ministry said in a preliminary report that exports increased 14.0 percent from a year earlier while imports were up 18.9 percent.
The latest figures from the ministry were measured on a customs-cleared basis.
