SYDNEY, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 jolted 74 km off Tadine, New Caledonia on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The earthquake, which struck at 09:25:50 UTC, was initially determined to be at 21.576 degrees south latitude and 168.606 degrees east longitude with a depth of 25.3 km.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue tsunami alert after the shock.
