RABAT, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Host Morocco has been placed in Group A along with Guinea, Sudan and Mauritania in the African Nations Championship (CHAN), according to the results of the draw of the competition held in the capital rabat late on Friday.
The biennial Championship for African players based in their domestic leagues will be held from January 12 to 4 February.
The four groups of the competition are as follows:
(Group A): Morocco, Guinea, Sudan, Mauritania
(Group B): Cote d'Ivoire, Zambia, Uganda, Namibia
(Group C): Libya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Equatorial Guinea
(Group D): Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Burkina Faso
