MOSCOW, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Russia will keep the number of its soldiers unchanged at 1,013,628, a presidential decree published on Friday said.
The scale of Russian troops will remain exactly the same as on July 1 this year, when an earlier decree took effect.
The total number of Armed Forces personnel will stand at 1,902,758, about 300 people less than the strength in July.
The new decree will be effective from January 1 next year.
