ABUJA, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Three people have been confirmed killed after a passenger train derailed in Nigeria's commercial hub Lagos early Thursday.
Local police noted the train rammed into a moving truck in the Lagos suburb of Agege, injuring many people.
Lagos police spokesman Olarinde Famous-Cole said security personnel and rescue operatives were in control of the situation.
Famous-Cole said an investigation was underway to ascertain the cause of the accident and the total number of victims.
