WARSAW, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo on Monday met with EU's chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier here to discuss Poland's expectations on future EU-Britain relations, the PM's office said.
It said in a statement that the state of negotiations on the terms and conditions of Brexit was also the main topics of the meeting.
The statement stressed that for the time being, the most important issue in the negotiation remain citizen rights and financial records.
Earlier in the day, Konrad Szymanski, Polish deputy foreign minister, also held a conversation with the chief negotiator. The main issues were citizen rights, financing agreement and Ireland's affair.
Szymanski said that Poland considers positive British Prime Minister Theresa May's proposition on a special interim but everything must fulfill EU mandate, especially in the area of financing agreement.
