SINGAPORE, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean stocks closed lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) dropping 0.03 percent or 0.97 point to close at 3,419.13.
A total of 2.24 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.22 billion Singaporean dollars (about 894.57 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 251 to 217.
The STI index closed down 0.11 percent or 3.81 points to close at 3,420.1 last Friday.
