MEXICO CITY, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Mexico City government unlocked 117.6 million pesos (over 6 million U.S. dollars) for immediate use to rebuild after the Sept. 19 earthquake, the city's mayor, Miguel Angel Mancera, announced Saturday.

He added that the city government had also received 750,000 U.S. dollars for reconstruction from the U.S.-based Rockefeller Foundation.

Providing a roundup on actions to help the city, Mancera said that health personnel had visited 382,260 homes to check for damage and had delivered 362,044 vaccines.

Four people also remain in hospital, according to Mancera on Twitter.

The 7.1 earthquake killed 369 people nationwide, including 228 in the Mexican capital, where it brought down 38 buildings. 5,765 homes were affected, including 2,273 which were totally destroyed.

While the capital was the worst-hit part of Mexico, the earthquake also took lives and damaged infrastructure in the State of Mexico, Morelos, Puebla, Guerrero and Oaxaca.
