SARAJEVO, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- The women's national basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) defeated their Slovakian counterparts 79-67 on Saturday in FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 Qualifiers.
The visiting Slovakian team had better of the game at the beginning, leading most of the first quarter, but BiH team took the lead and finished with 21-16. In the second quarter, the guests played better and went on break with a difference of six points (41-35).

With one victory, BiH team is currently on the second place in the group A, in qualifiers for the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 which will be co-hosted by Serbia and Latvia. A total of 32 teams are participating in the Qualifiers, having been drawn into eight groups of four teams each.
