WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- The Phoenix Suns have traded disgruntled guard Eric Bledsoe to the Milwaukee Bucks for center Greg Monroe, a future protected first-round and second-round draft picks, local media reported on Tuesday.

According to ESPN, the teams reached an agreement in principle on deal terms late Monday night and finalized the terms Tuesday morning.

Bledsoe, 27, has not played since his infamous "I don't want to be here" tweet, which he sent shortly before the news broke that Suns head coach Earl Watson had been fired just three games into the season.

Suns general manager Ryan McDonough said afterwards that Bledsoe "won't be with the team going forward".

Bledsoe averaged 21.1 points, 6.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds in 66 games last season. The 27-year-old point guard played with the LA Clippers for three seasons before joining Phoenix in 2013.

Monroe, also 27, has been out for over a week with a left calf strain. He averaged 11.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists last season, his second in Milwaukee.
