RABAT, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and two others injured in a shooting at a cafe in Morocco's tourist city of Marrakesh, local media reported on Thursday night.
The authorities said two attackers entered the cafe and shot at the crowd before fleeing the scene with a motorcycle.
The man, who was hit in the head, died instantly. The injured were sent to local hospital, the same source noted.
Initial investigations show revenge is likely to be behind the attack.
According to local media, the dead man, Hamza Chaieb, 26-year-old, studies medicine in Marrakesh. His father is the president of the court of appeal in the central city of Beni Mellal.
The police tightened security measures in and around the city after the attack.
