Dollar changes hands in upper 113 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 113 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely in line with its levels seen in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.65-66 yen compared with 113.60-70 yen in New York and 113.08-10 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1651-1652 dollars and 132.43-44 yen against 1.1641-1651 dollars and 132.27-37 yen in New York and 1.1643-1645 dollars and 131.66-70 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
