13 Afghan police killed in N. Afghanistan militant attacks

KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- At least 13 police personnel were killed and another missing, following a series of militant attacks on security checkpoints in the volatile Khanabad district of northern Kunduz province on Sunday, an official said.
