KABUL, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- A total of 830 commandos after completion of a 14-week training course were commissioned to Afghan National Army (ANA) on Wednesday, a military official said.

"Today 830 commando soldiers and officers after completion of a 14-week training, graduated from Kabul Commando Training Center and joined Afghan national army to serve the nation," Gen. Bismillah Waziri, commander of the Special Forces Corps, told reporters at a ceremony held on the outskirt of Kabul.

The newly graduated soldiers and officers will be deployed in any part of the country to serve the homeland in emergency conditions to strike insurgents and stabilize security, the official said.

The Afghan government and NATO-led Resolute Support mission have speeded up the training of defense security forces of Afghanistan to bolster the war against increasing militancy in the militancy-plagued country.
