MADRID, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares gained on Tuesday, with the benchmark Ibex-35 up 0.44 percent or 44.3 points, to close at 10,205.70 points.
Spain's fourth largest bank Banc Sabadell advanced 4.21 percent, followed by insurance company Mapfre and Spain's largest bank Banco Santander that rose 2.19 percent and 1.53 percent respectively.
Engineering and infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas went down 1.82 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Real estate company Merlin lost 1.10 percent and technology solutions provider Amadeus went down 0.81 percent.
