SARAJEVO, Oct. 14 (Xinhua)-- Group of chefs have cooked traditional meat pie weighing 650 kilograms with an intention to enter the Guinness World Records, on Saturday in Tuzla, a city 140 km northeast to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)'s capital, local media reported Saturday.

Totally 14 chefs had gathered at the Central Square in an attempt to prepare the biggest BiH traditional meat pie and the biggest flat bread with 1,500 pieces of cevap, a traditional grilled sausage made of minced meat.

The biggest pie ever prepared in BiH was baked in the oldest restaurant located in Tuzla, in the traditional BiH dish weighing over 100 kg, the organizers' official website said.

Recordings of measurement were sent and the official results showing whether BiH has entered the Guinness World Records will be known in three months.

"It was a challenge to prepare a pie as well as to transport it, for what we used a specialized vehicle," the organizer of the Tuzla Gastro Show told local media.

All facilities were disinfected. Some 3,000 residents enjoyed eating pie and watched performances of cultural-artistic associations.
