Indian markets open higher

MUMBAI, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened marginally higher on Tuesday despite mixed global cues, backed by healthcare, metals and select banks stocks.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 31,929.83, 82.94 points or 0.27 percent up compared to its previous close at 31,846.89.
