UN peacekeeper killed in battle with rebels in east DR Congo

BENI, DR Congo, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- A Tanzanian peacekeeper of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) was killed in battle with ADF rebels Monday in a village in Beni of North Kivu province in the east part of the country, according to a UN source on the spot.
