ANKARA, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Saturday that Turkey was conducting an anti-terror operation in Syria's Idlib.

Speaking at the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP)'s meeting in Turkey's western province of Afyonkarahisar, Erdogan said "today a landmark operation is underway in Idlib, and it will continue." (Turkey-Syria-Idlib)

GAZA -- The security apparatuses of Islamic Hamas movement in Gaza arrested Noor Eassa, a top Islamic State (IS) leader and three others in southern Gaza Strip, a Hamas-run interior ministry spokesman said Saturday.

Eyad al-Bozzom told reporters that the interior security forces arrested at midnight Eassa and three others in the town of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip, adding that the four had been wanted by the security forces for more than a year. (Gaza-Hamas-IS)

TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif Saturday lashed out at U.S. President Donald Trump for his recent threats to "decertify" the Iranian nuclear deal, Tasnim news agency reported.
