LONDON, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- China's Alex Hua Tian and Don Geniro took the lead at Military Boekelo after the dressage competition in Enschede, the Netherlands, on Friday.
Hua Tian, who finished eighth in last year's Rio Olympics, scored 37.3 with his 10-year-old Don Geniro.
Dutch pair Tim Lips and Bayro was second with 39.10 points. Tim last won the Dutch National Championships at Boekelo in 2007.
The 25-year-old Hua Tian will comepte in the cross country on Saturday and the jumping event will be held on Sunday.
