Freight train derails in northern India

NEW DELHI, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- A goods train derailed in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh Wednesday morning, railway officials said.

"Three coaches of the goods train went off tracks on the Achhnera-Mathura rail route this morning. There have been no reports of any casualty so far," a railway official said.

The derailment has disrupted rail movement in the region, the official said, adding that a probe has been ordered into the incident.
