WARSAW, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Polish president Andrzej Duda sent a condolence message to his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump on Monday over the bloody mass shooting in Las Vegas in the U.S. state of Nevada.
"The death of so many innocent people inspires in us a profound sense of grief but also meets with our resolute and unequivocal objection," said Duda in the message. He described the shooting as "barbarous act of terror".
Duda expressed "the deepest sympathy" and offered prayers together with the bereaved families. He also wished a quick recovery of the wounded.
According to the latest data provided by the local police, at least 58 people were killed and some 500 others injured in the mass shooting at a concert in Las Vegas.
